Babies can nap or nuzzle close, or practice their Happy Baby Pose. Class is taught in Vinyasa Flow style with the intention to help reconnect with core, redevelop strength, and open all those tight, achy places common in those first months post-natal. Each class is appropriately tailored to whomever shows up, and offered with enough flexibility to allow for the needs of the little ones. Breastfeeding and diaper changes welcome.
Appropriate for all levels and babies newborn to crawling.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited!
Big + Little Yogis
October 5 – 26 | Thursdays | 5 – 5:45pm
Moms with littles who are on the move, come join our village and get back to your yoga practice! Take time to recharge so you can keep up!
Little movers are learning independence, so they will have freedom here to play or participate as much as their attention span allows, while mom demonstrates dedication to self-care. Classes will be geared toward mom’s practice level, with the intention to keep it simple and repetitive, so as to offer opportunities for the littles to participate at their own pace.
Come with a light heart and a sense of humor! A few toys or books for the kiddos are a good idea too.
Appropriate for all levels and movers up to age 4.
Pre-registration required! Prorating available.
Restorative + Yoga Nidra
October 29 | Sunday | 5 – 6:30pm
We spend so much of our time moving, rushing from task to task, checking our to-do lists, sometimes juggling multiple projects at once. All while our devices consistently command our fleeting attention.
Here is an opportunity to pause. To unplug, rest in support, rediscover your breath, and unburden yourself from the tension that inevitably builds with so much action.
Restorative yoga offers us an opportunity to slow down enough to reset our nervous system. It helps us to reestablish connection to the steady ground beneath us, so that we move into our next cycle of life more mindfully and with ease.
Yoga nidra is a form of guided meditation intended to facilitate a state of “yogic sleep”, which is not quite sleep, but a trancelike state of deeply relaxed awareness. Its benefits include improved cognitive functioning, enhanced memory, reduced stress and anxiety, better sleep and improved physical health. It is considered a valuable tool for treating insomnia, chronic pain, and PTSD.
This once-a-month offering combining these two deeply relaxing healing modalities is a wonderful digestive to add to your monthly regimen. Gentle enough for all levels of experience and ability.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited!
A playful approach to mindfulness for kids! Throughout this 8 week series, will explore yogic themes through games, storytelling, and simple poses.
