A playful approach to mindfulness for kids! Each session will explore yogic themes through games, storytelling, and simple poses. Introduction to breath awareness and repetition of simple sequences will help instill good habits and offer tools for managing anxiety and working through fears.

A chance for tweens and teens to come together to be active, mindful, and learn the skill of being present. Focus is on grounding and stabilizing through posture and breath to develop confidence and stability.

Prenatal Yoga

A gentle and nurturing class incorporating conscious breathing and careful movement intended specifically for mamas-to-be. Appropriate for women in all stages of pregnancy, including those trying to become pregnant or recently postpartum, and all levels.

Mama +  Me

June 5-26

Wednesdays 6-7pm

This is a true ‘Community Yoga’ class! Mamas can venture out of the nest with their little ones and begin to reconnect with their bodies in the safe, supportive company of other brand new moms. Babies can nap or nuzzle close, or practice their Happy Baby Pose. Class is taught in Vinyasa Flow style with the intention to help reconnect with core, redevelop strength, and open all those tight, achy places common in those first months post-natal. Each class is appropriately tailored to whomever shows up, and offered with enough flexibility to allow for the needs of the little ones. Breastfeeding and diaper changes welcome.

Appropriate for all levels and babies newborn to crawling.

Yoga 101

 April 12 – May 17

More than just an intro for beginners, Yoga 101 is a place to begin to truly understand the whole of the practice. Taught in weekly components, this series will introduce you to the complete 8 Limb Path of Yoga, including the theory and philosophy that underlies it. Learn proper use of asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) to attain desired effects. This is a perfect place to begin cultivating your own at home yoga practice with guidance and space to ask all the questions that come up along the way.

Appropriate for brand new beginners and experienced yogis who want to deepen their practice.

Summer yoga Mala with live music

June 1   

Saturday 2-5pm

Welcome summer by joining us for our Summer Yoga Mala with live music! The event will feature the ancient yoga tradition of completing 108 Sun Salutations in alignment with the changing seasons. In celebration of life’s cycles, we will move through Surya Namaskara A (Sun Salutation) in series of 9 with ample pauses to rest in between. Avery Coffee will accompany on acoustic guitar to keep the momentum going steadily. As an extra special treat, local bodyworker Terri Simmons will offer gentle body-balancing and craniosacral adjustments to leave you feeling all the more aligned. 

Some yoga experience is required, but beginners are welcome!
